Join the Friends of Doleman Black Heritage Museum: Volunteer For Our Juneteenth Celebration and Masquerade Ball

February 13, 2024

Hagerstown, MD – The Friends of Doleman Black Heritage Museum (DBHM) is a dynamic group of volunteers who have been instrumental in organizing and executing events for the Doleman Black Heritage Museum since 2008. This year, as we add the Juneteenth Celebration to our roster of events, we invite you to join our hardworking, dynamic group of volunteers dedicated to bringing awareness to DBHM's efforts.

This milestone year's lineup of events celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Doleman Family Collection, which serves as the museum's foundation. We would be honored to have your individual or organization's assistance in organizing Juneteenth and the Masquerade Ball with a Cotton Club Twist. Your support is crucial, and we welcome your involvement in either or both events.

The Friends of DBHM holds Thursday evening meetings from 7 pm to 8:30 pm via Zoom from February to April, transitioning to in-person sessions at the museum in May and June.
