Planning is underway for the 2027 Juneteenth Celebration, and we are seeking volunteers who are willing to share their time, talents, and ideas to help make this year’s event a success.
Our annual Juneteenth Celebration brings together families, community organizations, educators, artists, local businesses, and civic leaders to honor African American history, celebrate freedom, and promote unity throughout our community.
As we begin preparations, we welcome both returning volunteers and new individuals who are interested in becoming involved. There are many ways to contribute, including assisting with event planning, sponsor outreach, community partnerships, vendor coordination, publicity, and event-day activities.
Your participation and support can make a meaningful difference! Whether you can volunteer regularly or assist with a specific task, we would appreciate your involvement.
If you are interested in volunteering for the 2027 Juneteenth Celebration, please reply to email info@dbhm.org or call the museum at (301) 797-5019 and let us know how you would like to help.
Thank you for your continued support of the Doleman Black Heritage Museum and our efforts to preserve African American history, celebrate our culture, and bring our community together.
We look forward to working with you to make the 2027 Juneteenth Celebration another memorable occasion!
Warm regards,
Friends of the Doleman Black Heritage Museum
