The Doleman Black Heritage Museum is looking to fill two vacancies on its Board of Directors. We believe that your unique and dynamic combination of hard work, wisdom, and wealth, along with these vital character traits, are crucial for the success of our minority organization:

Essential Traits: A candidate must have a deep understanding and knowledge of the organization, insights, and familiarity with our mission and operations to effectively contribute to the museum's mission.

Hard Work: Hard work is not just a requirement but the backbone of any successful organization. It ensures that board members are dedicated, diligent, and willing to put in the effort required to achieve the museum's goals and overcome challenges.

Wisdom: Wisdom brings a depth of knowledge and experience that is invaluable for making informed decisions. It helps guide the museum through complex situations and ensures that strategic choices are made with long-term benefits.

Wealth: Wealth means your financial contributions and access to resources and networks. Your ability to secure funding, partnerships,and opportunities is crucial in supporting the museum's initiatives and ensuring our growth and sustainability.

Wit: Wit is crucial as it brings a sharp and insightful perspective to the board, enabling innovative solutions and creativeproblem-solving. It helps in navigating complex issues with a fresh and dynamic approach.

Loyalty: Loyalty ensures a steadfast commitment to the museum's mission and vision. It builds trust and reliability, crucial for the organization's long-term success and stability.

Team Orientation: A team-oriented mindset fosters collaboration and unity among board members. It is essential for creating a cohesive environment where diverse ideas are valued and collective goals are achieved.

Empathy: Your ability to understand and address the unique challenges minority communities face is vital and highly valued. Your compassionate decision-making and inclusive policies support our mission to preserve and promote heritage, bringing a unique
perspective to our board.

Fiduciary Responsibility: As a board member, you will have a fiduciary responsibility to act in the best interest of the Doleman Black Heritage Museum. This includes overseeing the museum's financial health, ensuring resources are used effectively, and making
decisions that support the museum's mission and long-term sustainability.
