Fashion Show & Dance Fundraiser


July 31st – Fashion Show & Dance Fundraiser 7pm-1am @ Best Western Grand Venice Ballroom – $20.00

It is that time of the year again and we are planning the 2nd fundraiser for the Doleman Black Heritage Museum’s “A Walk through History in Fashion-Show and Dance” slated for Saturday, July 31, 2010. The evening begins at 7pm where guest will attempt to identify famous personalities from our past through conversations and costumes adorn by our fashion show models. After the meet and greet there will be a fashion show which reveals the identity of the characters and showcases the fashions of the 2010 summer season. The evening will end with a high spirited dance celebrating the supporters and friends of the Doleman Black Heritage Museum. To purchase tickets, 301/791.4826.

Concert benefits Doleman Black Heritage Museum


February 25, 2010 – The Coppin State University concert choir will give its first off-campus performance in three years in an effort to house the collection of the late Marguerite Doleman. The choir is the featured act Saturday, Feb. 27, at The Maryland Theatre in downtown Hagerstown, where there will also be performances by students from the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts in Hagerstown.
